Agency Non-Solicitation Policy
Talis Biomedical Biomedical does not accept unsolicited referrals or resumes from any source other than directly from candidates or other authorized representatives. We will not consider unsolicited referrals and/or resumes from vendors including and without limitation, search firms, staffing agencies, fee-based referral services and recruiting agencies. The submission of referrals or resumes by anyone other than a candidate or authorized representative directly to Talis Biomedical Biomedical is strictly prohibited. Unsolicited referrals and resumes sent to Talis Biomedical Biomedical are deemed gratuitous, and the company will not be obligated or bound in any way to pay any referral or other fee if a person referred to us from a source other than a candidate is hired.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, resumes will be accepted from approved vendors who have written agreements in place with Talis Biomedical Biomedical, and then only to the extent such agreement covers a specified position and, if required by such agreement, the submission of resumes by the vendor has been authorized in writing by Talis Biomedical Biomedical for such specified position. Any resume submitted in the absence of a signed agreement will become the property of Talis Biomedical Biomedical and no fee shall be due.

As a Job Applicant, you have the right to know and understand the categories of personal information we collect about you, and the purposes for which the categories of personal information shall be used, pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (the “CCPA”). 1. Key definitions
- Job Applicant: natural persons who reside in California, including (1) individuals who are in California for other than a temporary and transitory purpose; and (2) individuals who are domiciled in California, but are outside the state for a temporary or transitory purpose, and who submits his or her candidacy to Talis Biomedical.
- CCPA: means the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, commencing on January 1, 2020, as amended or replaced from time to time, along with any implementing regulations.
- Personal information: as defined in the CCPA, and includes information that can be used to identify you, either alone or in combination with other information, and any other information that could reasonably be linked with a particular consumer or device.
2. Information you provide directly to us or through a third party
When you choose to visit our website and submit an application for consideration, or if you apply for a job through a third-party website, we may collect and process your personal information as necessary to consider your application. Talis Biomedical may have collected the following categories of personal information from Job Applicants within the last twelve (12) months. The categories of personal information and other terms used below are defined in California Civil Code 1798.140, and may include reference to certain definitions set forth in our Privacy Statement.
